What is Kalo Series MB-110, MB-115 and MB-138?
The series provides distinct black masterbatch options for different materials and visual requirements. The three grades should not be treated as interchangeable.
Which resins can be evaluated?
Published information lists: High-density polyethylene (HDPE); Low-density polyethylene (LDPE); Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE); Polypropylene (PP). Final compatibility must be confirmed in the actual formulation.
Which processes are documented?
MB-110: intended for recycled resin, primarily in film extrusion; MB-115: cold-runner injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding in polyolefins; MB-138: broader-range option; confirm resin and process with AGAMA's technical team.
Which temperature reference should be used?
Published product pages list 140–210 °C as a reference window. Final settings must also follow the processing requirements of the base resin.
What dosage or incorporation method is recommended?
Published product pages start at 15–20 g/kg. For MB-115 and MB-138, 15 g/kg is listed for injection molding with virgin resin.
Which limits should be reviewed before production?
MB-110 is not recommended for virgin resin and may require evaluation in injection or blow molding. Hot-runner use must be evaluated for MB-115 and MB-138. These grades are not formulated with FDA-approved materials.
